River of Life
The site was a large urban revitalization project on a river in the greater Philadelphia area. The main theme of the artist’s design concept was to bring awareness of the natural and historical context of the site and the river environment. The artwork is composed of sculptural seating carved with water patterns, educational signage sharing the history, and engraved granite pavers with regional flora and fauna that are embedded in the walkways throughout the site.
